Chrisze Alberts is a personal trainer at Fit For Life, located in Meander Square, Nottingham Road. Her love for fitness began when she took control of her wellbeing and goals to improve her physique. This journey led her to develop a deeper love of health and performance, and she gained hands-on experience in fat loss, muscle building, and strength training. She also learnt how to structure effective workout plans to maximise results and minimise risks, including becoming proficient in nutrition for performance, recovery and achieving sustainable body composition. “Like many other women, my journey hasn’t been without challenges. I’ve had to learn how to stay consistent through plateaus, manage motivation, and adapt my approach when things weren’t working. These experiences have taught me that fitness is not about quick fixes, but about building habits and a lifestyle that can be maintained long-term,” Chrisze shared.

Every woman is different, which is why Chrisze prioritises individualisation and helps them with specific goals. She emphasises the important role that mindset and maintaining a balanced approach play in women’s fitness journeys, teaching them to appreciate what their bodies can do, not just their appearance, as the most sustainable way to achieve long-term health and fitness.

Some of the most inspiring things Chrisze witnesses are when women start their fitness journeys and take full ownership of their health. “Watching that transformation, where someone goes from uncertain and hesitant to confident and strong, is powerful. You start to see a shift, not only in their physical strength, but in how they carry themselves, how they think, and how they approach challenges outside the gym,” Chrisze said. Fit For Life offers a welcoming, supportive community suited for all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced. It’s fully equipped with free weights, resistance machines, cardio equipment, and functional training; it has all the modern amenities for a high-quality experience.

While it can be tremendously challenging to take that first step towards joining a gym, especially for women who have all sorts of demands and responsibilities filling their day, it’s also motivating to witness the level of resilience when women show up for themselves. “It creates a positive ripple effect; one woman stepping into her strength often inspires others to do the same,” Chrisze remarked.
